Re: yuba river
Fri, June 24, 2005 - 9:50 AMwell, if anyone's interested i did find that the current streamflow is about 2x the daily median for the last 73 years.
also, this article was published in May:
yubanet.com/artman/publi...e_20911.shtml
i think i'm going to wait a few more weeks before heading up.
gravy,

Re: yuba river
Sat, July 9, 2005 - 1:54 PMwe were up last weekend. the water was much higher, but if you stay in the large pools, it didn't seem too treacherous. it also wasn't very cold considering the large flow rates. -

Wed, May 31, 2006 - 10:51 AMI was up there 2 weeks ago... Spark, I'm impressed! I usually have a fairly good tolerance for cold water, but this was like ice! yipes, i just dipped the toes in this time. it was a rushing beautiful river -- HUGE! -

Re: yuba river
Wed, May 31, 2006 - 2:26 PMi was in NSJ last weekend and the water is still too high and cold, imo.
But that's my $.02. My favorite beaches are still submerged, so I know it is not time YET. ):
Soon! (:

Re: yuba river
Sun, June 4, 2006 - 12:41 AMwe were up there last weekend, and the water is still high, and icy cold. That didn't mean that there wasn't a passle of gay men braving the cold waters, it just meant that I was napping on the beach instead of freezing my balls off. -
